Create & Manage Your Groups
Promote, expand, and lead your groups through the Church's QuickReg system.

"QuickReg facilitates community building by helping EnglishConnect teachers and leaders—as well as stakes and missions—to support the needs of the learners. It’s a tool that will make all the difference in gathering Israel."

Betsey Wheeler, EnglishConnect Service Missionary

What is QuickReg?

Available in over 40 languages, QuickReg is the official registration tool of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and is specifically designed for all Welfare and Self-Reliance and EnglishConnect groups. QuickReg ensures compliance with the Church’s data privacy policies and automatically syncs with leader and clerk resources (LCR).

Leaders and teachers will find it easy to use as they can create and manage groups and invite participants. Participants can find groups in their area and quickly self-register in their native language.

Group Management
How do I create a group?
QuickReg makes it very simple and fast to create a group.
  • Step 1: Choose the language the group will be taught in.
  • Step 2: Choose the type of group you will be offering.
  • Step 3: Add the details of the group such as the location, group dates, meeting times, facilitator, etc.
  • Step 4: Save the group.
Do I need to register a group on the old system?
No. Once you register a group in QuickReg, you are finished. You are then able to make changes to your groups as you need. At the end of a group, you will return to QuickReg to “conclude” the group and create certificates for all participants who completed the necessary qualifications.
What is a public group?
QuickReg provides a map or list view of all groups in a geographic area. The public page can be found at https://quickreg.englishconnect.org/join-now. For a group to appear on the map or the list, it must be created as a public group. The intent for a public group is so that members of other stakes or those not of our faith may find and register to participate in a group. All groups are public unless you select “Hide from public list” checkbox.
What is a hidden group?
In some circumstances, you may decide you do not want to show a group on the public page. For example, the stake decides to hold a group specifically for youth in the stake. You are not interested in having others from outside the stake join. You can create a hidden group and either enter participants manually or send a link to those individuals you wish to invite.
What is a pending group?
When you are setting up a new group, sometimes you do not know all the details for the group, but you will decide the details after group members have registered. You can set up a pending group.
  • Step 1: Choose the language the group will be offered in.
  • Step 2: Choose the type of group you want to offer.
  • Step 3: Choose the location of the group (this can be changed later).
  • Step 4: Click the Pending checkbox.
  • Step 5: Save the group.
  • Step 6: Share the group link with others so they can sign up.
  • Step 7: After everyone has registered, edit the group and add the group details such as the dates and times, facilitator, etc.
  • Step 8: Save the group.
How can I cancel a group?
If you create a group and then realize the group will not be used, you may cancel the group.
  • Step 1: Open the QuickReg Groups page.
  • Step 2: Click the … menu on the group you wish to cancel.
  • Step 3: Choose Cancel Group.
  • Step 4: Click Continue to cancel the group.

The group status changes to Cancelled.
How do I conclude a group?
After your group has finished, come into QuickReg and conclude the group. This will allow you to then print the participants’ certificates.
  • Step 1: Open the QuickReg Groups page.
  • Step 2: Click the … menu on the group you wish to conclude and print certificates.
  • Step 3: Choose Conclude Group.
  • Step 4: Click Continue to confirm you wish to conclude the group.
  • Step 5: Complete the Outcomes Survey for each of the participants. Be sure to click Yes next to “Earned a Certificate” for each of the participants who should receive a certificate.
  • Step 6: Click Save and Conclude Group.

The group status changes to Concluded.

Why does QuickReg says a user is “not authorized?”
QuickReg uses certain Church callings to grant access. If a user is given a message of “not authorized,” it typically means they do not have one of the designated callings that are automatically granted access to the system. Please note that custom callings will not be granted access.
How does a facilitator access a group in QuickReg?
Facilitators are given access to groups through the administrative portal by going to https://quickreg.englishconnect.org. In the group creation process, you will be able to add a facilitator by searching for any part of the person’s name. Facilitators must have attached their MRN to the church account for them to have access to QuickReg. Once that individual is added as a facilitator and the group is saved, the facilitator will be able to log into the system and access their group. Please note that individuals without a church account within the host stake will not be able to access the group information inside of QuickReg.
How do I print certificates for my group participants?
First, follow the process above to conclude the group.
  • Step 1: Open the concluded group.
  • Step 2: Check the box next to each participant who earned a certificate.
  • Step 3: Click the … menu next to the Date heading.
  • Step 4: Select Completion or Participation Certificates.
  • Step 5: Save the PDF file with the certificates to your device.
  • Step 6: Print or distribute the certificates to the participants.

Note: You may click the Print Certificates button to download a PDF certificate for individual participants.
How does someone who wants to participate in a group sign up?
There are several ways a person can join a group.

1. Manually Add Participants
A facilitator or authorized leader may manually add a participant to a group.
  • Step 1: Log into QuickReg.
  • Step 2: Go to “Groups” A list of groups for your location will appear.
  • Step 3: Select the group you wish to add the participant.
  • Step 4: Select the “+ Participant” button. Follow the steps and save.
  • Step 5: Be sure the participant is aware of and agrees to the Terms of Participation.

2. Send a Link
You may send a direct group link to participants to allow them to sign up for a group themselves. This method is highly recommended as it allows the participants to acknowledge the Terms of Participation in a group.
  • Step 1: Log into QuickReg.
  • Step 2: Go to “Groups.” A list of groups for your location will appear.
  • Step 3: Select the desired group.
  • Step 4: Copy the link to the group. Click on “Copy Group Link” on the right-hand side of the group details.
  • Step 5: The link will be copied to your clipboard in the background. Go to an email, text, social media, etc. and paste the link into the message. Send it to the participants and they can then go through the signup process themselves.

3. Search the public groups
Participants may also find a group by going to https://quickreg.englishconnect.org/join-now. From this view, the participant will be shown all the “public” groups in their area. They can view the page in a “list view” or a “map view.”
  • Step 1: Choose which group they wish to join and click “Sign Up.”
  • Step 2: The participant can choose to sign up using a “Church Account” username and password, or by signing up without an account.
  • Step 3: The participant completes the required information and saves. They will then be registered.

Participants should take a photo of the congratulations screen or write down the information for their group so they can remember what they signed up for. Facilitators should plan to contact the participants to welcome them to the group and remind them of the group meeting information.

IMPORTANT: When the map is moved, all groups do not automatically appear. The button “Search this Area” in the upper right-hand corner of the map must be clicked to refresh the list of groups.
For Participants & Misc.
Do I need to register a self-reliance devotional?
No. Holding a group devotional is decided by the stake leadership. The Church is no longer collecting any information on devotionals.
How do I attach my MRN to my Church Account?

  • Step 1: Sign in to Church Account
  • Step 2: Under the "Profile" heading, select "Membership"

  • Did the participant start or improve a business?
  • Did the participant start an educational program?
  • Did the participant get a new or better job?
  • Did the participant start or improve a budget?
